Pike Bunny
The Pike Bunny is a large, flashy rabbit strip streamer designed for pike, muskie, and large bass. The rabbit fur strip creates enormous undulating action even on the pause, and the bright color combinations trigger aggressive reflex strikes from apex predators. Fish it on a 9-weight or heavier rod with a wire leader in the shallows, near weed edges, and over drop-offs. Strip fast and erratic — pike prefer a fleeing prey presentation.

Materials
- hook: Wide-gap pike/muskie hook #1/0–4/0
- thread: Chartreuse or white 140D
- head: Large tungsten cone
- tail: Long rabbit strip (5–6 inches), chartreuse or orange
- flash: Gold or silver Flashabou
- legs: Long silicon rubber legs
Tying steps
- Mount a size 1/0–4/0 wide-gap hook; slide on a large tungsten cone.
- Start fluorescent thread behind the cone.
- Tie in a long, full rabbit strip (5–6 inches) at the bend, skin down.
- Add 4–6 strands of Flashabou alongside the rabbit strip.
- Attach 2–3 pairs of long rubber legs in contrasting colors on each side.
- Wind marabou around the shank forward to behind the cone.
- Build a thread collar; whip finish and cement.
- Apply a generous coat of UV resin over the dumbbell eyes to lock them securely in place.
